(Nearly) A Year Later

Wow, I can't believe it's been just about a year since I last posted... It's always been a hard commitment for me to write consistently, whether it be in a journal, letters, blog, or even homework. But as I look back at what I had posted a year ago, it makes me realize how much I've really been through. As I sit in this Starbucks next to two girls reminiscing about their past as well as bolstering their current adventures, I think to myself about the experiences I've had.

From the relationships- both friends and more- that have come and gone, the many relocation's I've made, and hectic work schedule I've survived through this past year, I know just how much I've grown up throughout it all. From the good times to the bad (and there's definitely been plenty of each), I'm reflecting upon the things and people who have made me who I am today and I'll admit, it's rather humbling.

I guess you could call this a sort of late New Year's Resolution, but I'd like to get back into my creative side- writing, photography, mixed-media, etc. I believe in the long run, being more in touch with that side of my being will help me out in more ways than I can even imagine at this moment.
